Grade 10

In this unit, the overarching inquiry questions are: 

• How has architecture throughout history hurt or healed communities?

• How can we design communities and buildings that are more inclusive and sustainable?

Students will work individually and collaboratively, in small design teams, and as part of the whole class to develop a model community with multiple building and space types. Through continuous reflection and regular feedback sessions, rich discussions about inclusivity and sustainability will occur and drive the creative process.
